One World ~ One Heart 2009 Participant

Photo
I'm proud to join in with almost 800 other bloggers for this fun, annual event! Bloggers from all over the world are giving away great gifts and all you have to do is visit the blogs and leave a comment!

My giveaway creation is this cute Valentines Day penny rug candlemat. I've made it with wool felt and did all the stitching by hand. Perfect size for a votive candle! (candle not included)

Penny rugs are my new passion. It's actually more of an addiction, but I'll call it a passion so it sounds better. :) I'm selling them in my etsy shop and stocking up for summer shows. I've made a few of these for Valentines Day, but they could be used year round. Wanna win???

Just write a comment to get your name in the drawing and make sure you include either your website or email so I can contact you if you're the winner!

Deadline to enter is February 11 and the lucky winner's name will be drawn on February 12th!

Click on the logo above to see a list of all the participating blogs.

Better get ya a cup of hot cocoa cause you've got lots of blogs to check out! Have fun with it. :)

If you'd like to see all the prim creations I have for sale, check out http://www.privesandprims.etsy.com/

Note: I'll be using a Random Integer Generator to pick the winner! There are just too many names for me to write them out and pick from a hat. :) You can get your own "number picker" at http://www.random.org/integers/.

I'm really trying to get better at remembering to post here, but so far I'm not doing too good. :(

What takes up my time is making crafts for summer inventory and lately I've been trying to make myself do some sprucing up in the home. I want to paint walls, but I think I'll wait until I can open windows. I want to put in new vinyl and carpet on the floors, but need to paint the walls first so I don't get paint on the new floors. So---what's a girl to do in the meantime? Stitch, stitch, stitch!
Today I actually cleaned and rearranged my laundry/craft room. It's about 8' X 8', so you know I MUST keep it clean and organized, or it's a disaster! It's amazing how much clutter we accumulate in only a year. :)

Another thing I've been working on is promoting the Prim Crafter's Conference that I'm hosting. It will be held here in Burnsville, NC at High Pastures Retreat Center, May 1-3, 2009. I'm only taking 30 reservations for this conference and the price goes up as the date gets closer. Deadline for sign-ups is March 30. We'll have some great workshops for primitive doll faces needle sculpting and painting, decorative painted soap, penny rug candlemat, stitchery ornament and possibly the most important one will be with an award winning photographer that will show us how to take better photos of our creations for posting on the web!
If your hubby would like to join you for a weekend in the mountains, there's a price just for him that includes lodging with you and all his meals. The hubby price does not include workshops. We've got one husband signed up that will be doing some trout fishing while he's here, so if yours enjoys fishing, bring him along! Get all the details at http://www.primcraftersconference.com/

I'm on a roll :)

Wow, two posts in one day!

Just wanted to show you the other of the twins. This is Lydia. She's for sale on ebay.

Great addition for a kitchen done in apple decor!

Where have the days gone???

I guess ya'll thought I must of gotten buried in the snow! Just staying in and staying warm. :)

I've been working on things for spring shows and trying to build up inventory again.

I just finished this prim black folk art doll. She's Tina the ballerina! Her dress fabric has little ballerina slippers all over it. She's been coffee stained, so she's prim perfect!
She's not the purdiest thing, but she'd love to be adopted by you. ;)
I've made and sold many from this pattern and every face looks different. They each have their own personality. You can purchase this "cutie" in my etsy shoppe at http://www.priviesandprims.etsy.com/
I'll be making more stuff and I'll try and do better on my postin'.
Stay warm and be blessed!
